Chuck returns on January 10! Chuck fans can finally put the show back on their calendars, with the two-hour season premiere set for January 10.

Not to worry about the season premiere on Sunday, however. Following the two-hour special, Chuck will be back in its Monday at 8 p.m. timeslot on January 11.

“Chuck” Gets Additional Episodes for Season Three

NBC has reportedly ordered additional episodes of “Chuck,” adding to the existing 13 episodes for season three.

While specifics are not yet available, insiders say NBC may order as many as six additional episodes for season 3.

Now the little detail of when Chuck will return to the schedule – some rumors of an early return were bubbling recently, but other reports say to expect Chuck in mid-January.

NBC to Move “Chuck” Season 3 Premiere Up to October?

While “Chuck” fans may not quite want to do the happy dance yet… it’s being rumored that Chuck’s season 3 premiere will be moved up to October, versus the March midseason premiere originally planned.

EW.com is reporting that NBC may air Chuck as early as late October due to slumping viewer numbers and the vacancy left by Southland.

Now comes the next monkeywrench – what night will Chuck air? Some sources are saying it would return to Monday nights, but others are gossiping that a change in night may go down.

Please just don’t air it on kiss-of-death-Friday. Pretty please?

NBC Renews “Chuck” for Third Season

NBC renews “Chuck” … fans go wild! Well, at least that’s the reaction I imagine that Chuck fans would have.

News that NBC renewed “Chuck” comes tonight from the Hollywood Reporter, just when we thought NBC couldn’t drag this decision out any longer.

Looks like the “Save Chuck” Subway campaign might have helped garner some attention anyway. Will you be tuning in when Chuck returns for its third season?

No Chuck Renewal News for Fans Until May 19

NBC has Chuck fans chewing off their fingernails, waiting for any glimmer of renewal news… and we’ll have to keep waiting. NBC unveiled their fall lineup this morning, but nary a mention of Chuck (or Law & Order, Medium, Life or My Name is Earl, for that matter).

Now Chuck fans will have to wait until the May 19 upfronts for NBC to give the renewal news. Chuck HAS to get renewed… right?

There is some good news, however, as NBC did confirm renewals for Heroes, Southland, and Parks and Recreation. New series will include four dramas: Trauma, Parenthood, Mercy, Day One and two comedies: Community (starring The Soup’s Joel McHale) and 100 Questions.

Save “Chuck” Fans Update – Will Chuck be Renewed?

Save Chuck fans want an update on the fate of their favorite series… and so far it’s unclear if the Save Chuck fans’ Subway campaign garnered enough attention for a renewal.

In a USA Today poll of shows that are in danger of cancellation, Chuck fans voted the NBC series as the one to save.

More than half of the 41,000 people polled were Chuck fans – looking for the series to snag a renewal.

Chuck’s second season finale aired Monday and fans were deliriously happy… and wanting more. NBC has not yet decided if a third season renewal will happen or not. NBC is likely to make their decision by May 5, so hopefully the Save Chuck fans will have some happy news ahead.

Tonight marks the season finale of Chuck, but since there’s been no renewal/cancellation news for the series, many fear that tonight’s April 27 Chuck may also be the series finale. Of her desire to be a Bond girl, Jordana Brewster says: “I’d love to be a Bond girl. I mean, if you’re going to be stereotyped, there are worse things to be stereotyped as. Women always want to be what they’re not: If you’re the pretty girl, you want to be the quirky girl. If you’re the smart girl, you want to be the pretty girl.”
