American Idol season 7 finalist Chikezie Eze was arrested at Neiman Marcus last night for felony identity theft, according to reports from TMZ.com.

Well, this is strange — check out the March 27 video clip of American Idol castoff Chikezie on the March 27 Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Over 30 million votes were cast…. and Chikezie, Syesha Mercado and Jason Castro landed in the bottom three on the March 26 American Idol results show.

In the end though, it was Chikezie who was eliminated.
