Showtime cancels Tara? After three seasons, United States of Tara has been canceled.

Guess Tara star Toni Collette’s Emmy win for United States of Tara wasn’t enough to secure another season.

Collette was a critical darling with her portrayal of Tara – in total, the character took on six individual personalities.

United States of Tara was canceled because it took a dive in the ratings this past season… are you sad to see it go?

Brothers & Sisters Cancelled: B&S, No Ordinary Family, Off the Map, V, Others Canceled

Sad to report that Brothers and Sisters has been cancelled… while it’s really declined recently, Brothers & Sisters was one of my favorite drama series to watch.

Other ABC cancellations include V, No Ordinary Family, Off the Map, Better With You, Detroit 187 and Mr. Sunshine, according to

For Brothers and Sisters’ fans, that means that last Sunday’s season finale was actually the series finale. Hope you got some sort of closure there.

One Life to Live, All My Children Canceled! OLTL, AMC Ending 2011, 2012 (Video)

“All My Children” and “One Life to Live” canceled? Sadly, it’s true.

ABC has cancelled One Life to Live and All My Children, with both ending in 2012.

Two new shows, “The Chew” and “The Revolution” will take their places.

ABC executive Brian Frons commented, “They are iconic pieces of television that have made an indelible mark on our culture’s history.”

“All My Children” ends in September; “One Life to Live” ends in January 2012.

So sad.

Two and a Half Men Cancelled?

Was “Two and a Half Men” cancelled? Not yet… but Two and a Half Men production has been shut down for the rest of the season. Ah, Charlie Sheen’s douchey ways have finally caught up with him.

CBS and Warner Bros. TV released the following statement: “Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the remainder of the season.”

Is Life Unexpected Canceled? Life Unexpected Expected to be Cancelled

Is “Life Unexpected” canceled? While Life Unexpected has not yet been cancelled, it’s expected that the CW series will, in fact, face its cancellation soon.

So, the Life Unexpected season finale may just serve as LUX’s series finale, too.

Kristoffer Polaha, who stars on Life Unexpected, gave this outlook on the fate of the series: “the official stance of the network is that Life Unexpected is not canceled.”

CBS Cancels Medium: Medium Canceled After 7 Seasons

CBS cancels Medium… Medium canceled after 7 seasons and two different networks!

NBC canceled Medium last year, but CBS picked up the Patricia Arquette series. Last month, CBS cut the Medium season 7 order to 13 episodes, and now Patricia Arquette confirms Medium has been canceled.

Arquette tells Entertainment Weekly: “We got canceled,” dishing on how the series might end: “They’re like, ‘we’re just going to burn the whole thing down!’”

Arquette added that “It’s been a great time. I love that time in my life.”

Lone Star Cancelled; Fox Cancels Lone Star After Two Episodes

Lone Star has been cancelled, making it the first cancellation of the new season.

Following poor ratings, Fox cancels Lone Star after two episodes, and while the numbers were low, I’m willing to bet there are some folks who will be disappointed.

Lone Stars cancellation is effective immediately, and “Lie to Me” will now fill the Monday night vacancy (it was due to return in November on Wednesdays).

Lone Star only averaged 4.1 million viewers for the series premire, then dropped to 3.2 million for the second episode.

“Party Down” Canceled? Starz Cancels Party Down, Gravity

“Party Down” has been canceled? Excuse me while I go quietly sob in the corner…

Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Starz has canceled Party Down and Gravity, with an announcement to be made later today by the network.

Party Down just completed its second season, but with Jane Lynch leaving to co-star on Glee and Adam Scott joining the cast of Parks & Recreation, it seemed that perhaps the writing was on the wall.

Sadly, we’ll never see how the Party Down catering gang lives out the rest of their lives. Hrmph.

Update: Here’s the official statement about Party Down’s cancellation from Stephan Shelanski, executive vice president of programming for Starz Entertainment:

“After careful consideration, we’ve decided not to continue on with subsequent seasons of ‘Party Down’ and ‘Gravity.’ We’re grateful to everyone involved in the shows, and are proud to have had them on the channel. Starz remains committed to aggressively expanding our original programming lineup.”

Melrose Place Canceled

The CW has canceled Melrose Place – not a huge surprise, considering the Melrose revamp had zero audience.

Can’t say the Melrose Place cancellation is surprising and likely there are only a handful of people that even cared about the series.

CBS Cancels Cold Case, Ghost Whisperer, Old Christine, Numb3rs and More

CBS has cleaned house with a multitude of series being canceled, including Cold Case, Ghost Whisperer and The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Here’s the rundown of CBS cancellations, though there is some hope that Ghost Whisperer and Old Christine will make a move to ABC:
