It’s Official: Joe Jonas, Demi Lovato Dating, “Make a Wave” Video Premiere

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato are dating – it’s official. Demi Lovato confirmed the couple news on Friday’s The Billy Bush Show, when asked if she had dated a Jonas Brother, she said, “Umm, maybe.”

Bush asked, “Which one? Joe?” And Lovato said, “Yeah. He’s actually… he’s my best friend.”

So, Billy pushed a little more, asking Lovato, “So you guys went from boyfriend-girlfriend to best friends?”

Demi responded, “No kind of the opposite.”

Bush continued, “Oh? So you’re dating him now?” and Demi Lovato confirmed the Joe Jonas dating buzz, saying, “Umm, yeah he is my best friend and he is incredible.”

The Camp Rock co-stars just premiered their new music video “Make a Wave,” for Disney’s Friends for Change.

To sum it up, Demi Lovato says of Joe Jonas: “He’s perfect.”

Sadly, Camp Rock 2 doesn’t air on the Disney Channel until summer 2010.

Time to put all of those “Is Demi Lovato dating Joe Jonas?” questions to rest. According to Demi, she’s NOT dating one-third of the Jonas Brothers.

Straight from Demi’s fingertips to Twitter:

“There’s been a lot of rumors lately that I’m dating one of my best friends Joe. I can promise my entire career that I am not. It’s unfortunate that some people out there are so desperate for attention that they have to make up gossip to keep their site alive.”

“We’ve NEVER dated. He’s incredible, but we don’t have feelings for each other in that way. I love you guys, and I wouldn’t lie about that.”

Disney’s Camp Rock cutie Demi Lovato stops by the October 1 Ellen DeGeneres for an interview and has this news to share – she was bullied in 7th grade.

Demi Lovato talks with Ellen about how she eventually moved to home schooling, saying, “I never really understood why [I was being bullied] until looking back. I had a different lifestyle then everyone else.”

Demi Lovato hopes to help others with bullying, saying, “There are girls who can’t just up and home-school and focus on their career.”
