Wow, say it ain’t so. A show that still has a few new episodes left to air – a rarity during the writers’ strike. It is so! “Brothers & Sisters” is set to return on January 13 with three new episodes. How lucky can we get to have three more hours with the Walker family (and Rob Lowe, too!)?
And, of course, it’s getting juicy. According to Sarah Jane Morris, who plays (two-timing) Tommy’s wife, Julia: Read the rest of this entry »

Are “Brothers & Sisters” star Calista Flockhart and her sweetheart, Harrison Ford, the new Brangelina? Maybe we can call them Harrista? Hey, it might stick.
Anyway, the May-December couple was seen at the Los Angeles Mission yesterday, serving Thanksgiving meals to the homeless. So nice to see celebs helping out.

If you’ve been wondering if you’d ever see the return of Kevin’s love interest on “Brothers & Sisters,” rest assured he’ll be back. Kevin’s unlikely boyfriend – a priest and brother to his sister’s fiancée, Senator McCallister – has been out of the country on a mission in Malaysia. Eric Winter, who plays Jason on “Brothers & Sisters” is newly out of his obligation with Viva Laughlin, which got a very early axe from the schedule. Of course, the writers’ strike may delay when we’ll see Winter grace “B&S,” but never fear he will return “for a few episodes,” according to show runner Greg Berlanti. What does this mean for Scotty, who recently re-appeared in Kevin’s life? Guess we’ll just have to sit tight and wait.

As the fourth day of the Writer’s Guild of America’s strike continues, more and more shows are being canceled. Shows include: Til Death, Rules of Engagement, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, and Brothers and Sisters.
Yesterday, during filming, the Guild picketed around the set of Desperate Housewives. Instead of being upset, Eva Longoria Taylor brought pizza out to them so they wouldn’t have to leave. “I care about people losing their homes, and my hair and makeup artist who can’t make their ends meet if they don’t have a paycheck.”
In the meantime, a number of casts have either joined the Guild at the picket line or shown their support by refusing to cross the line. Casts include: The Office, and Grey’s anatomy, among others.
Season One of Brothers and Sisters (ABC) has been released on DVD; the new season starts September 30th The cast promoted the DVD release and both Sally and Rachel (God I love her) commented on how they feel about possibly doing films on the side. Read the rest of this entry »
