ABC has finally confirmed the return of a number of fan favorite shows (now that the pesky writers’ strike is over!). I’ve been hearing from readers about when Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy will be back with new episodes.

Desperate Housewives will return April 13 with five new episodes and a two hour (!) finale. Grey’s Anatomy is back on April 24 with five new episodes. Read the rest of this entry »

Following news that the writers’ strike has ended and everyone in TV land is going back to work, ABC has announced that nine of the network’s shows have been renewed for the 2008-09 season.

Naturally, “Desperate Housewives,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Ugly Betty,” “Lost” and “Brothers & Sisters” will return… but four new shows have also been given the network’s blessing for a second season: “Pushing Daisies,” “Private Practice,” “Samantha Who?” and “Dirty Sexy Money.” Read the rest of this entry »

Looks like there may be some happier news on the horizon when it comes to the writers’ strike. A tentative agreement was made between writers and Hollywood bigwigs on Friday, and while nothing is solid yet, many are hopeful that the writers’ strike could end this week.

Here’s a sneak peek at the upcoming episode of “Brother & Sisters,” titled ‘Feast of the Epiphany.’ Despite the ending that says an all new “Brothers & Sisters” returns on January 6th — I checked ABC’s website and the ‘Feast of the Epiphany’ epsiode of “Brothers & Sisters” airs on January 13.

Wow. This is beginning to feel like “Brothers & Sisters” day at TV Crunch!

“Without a Trace” star Roseyln Sanchez and boyfriend of two years, actor Eric Winter (ill-fated “Viva Laughlin” and “Brothers & Sisters”) got engaged over the holidays. Roseyln Sanchez and Eric Winter were vacationing on an island off of Puerto Rico when Winter popped the question.

Roseyln Sanchez and Eric Winter have not revealed any wedding plans as of yet.

Nor do we know when Eric Winter will return from his missionary duties in Malaysia on “Brothers and Sisters” and what will happen with his relationship with Kevin Walker. Eric Winter plays Jason McCallister on “Brothers & Sisters,” gay brother of Senator Robert McCallister (Rob Lowe).
