Bryan Cranston is set to host Saturday Night Live on October 2. When I saw the SNL hosting gig news this morning, I literally squealed. Maybe I need to get out more.

Breaking Bad is on a roll… AMC has picked up the Peabody Award winner for a third season. The renewal was announced just four episodes into Breaking Bad’s second season.

Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston, who won an Emmy for his role, and has been a ratings winner for AMC. Look for a third season of the series in 2010.
