Huh. A reality show developed by Sarah Jessica Parker – about art – will air on Bravo. Bravo has picked up art competition series “American Artist,” a reality series in the vein of “Project Runway.”
Sarah Jessica Parker’s Pretty Matches production company is helping develop “American Artist,” putting artists through their paces in challenges that include various styles of artwork.
Bravo will air Project Runway 5 beginning July 16 at 9 PM ET/PT – check out this picture of the 16 designers who will be featured on the show.
According to Heidi Klum, “I feel as though we set the bar higher every season. We’ve got some truly talented, innovative and deeply creative designers this year, and I think it’s fair to say, the most diverse – everyone from a rocker chick who mostly works with leather to a more bohemian, surfer boy –and everything in between.” Read the rest of this entry »
The New York Post is reporting that season five of Top Chef is rumored to be moving to Brooklyn.
While no reps for the Bravo series have yet confirmed the rumor, the Web site eater.com reveals that contestants have said Top Chef producers are scooping out Brooklyn housing for the upcoming cast. Read the rest of this entry »
And another Top Chef winner is crowned — Stephanie Izard won season 4 of Top Chef last night, becoming the first woman to win the Top Chef competition.

Yesterday, Lifetime announced that the hit Bravo series Project Runway would be making the move to Lifetime beginning in November (Project Runway’s sixth cycle). And NBC/Universal is taking legal action.

“Make Me a Supermodel” is one reality show/competition that I haven’t had the time to watch — but for those of you who want to know who won… Holly Kiser took the crown during the finale of “Make Me a Supermodel.”
In the finale, four contestants vied for the “Make Me a Supermodel” victory on Bravo: Ben DiChiara, 23, Ronnie Kroell, 25, Holly Kiser, 21, Perry Ullmann, 22. In the end, Holly Kiser won the whole kit and kaboodle. Sorry, handsome guy models.
