Justin Mentell, an actor who appeared on “Boston Legal,” is dead following a car accident an hour south of Madison, Wisconsin. Justin Mentell was driving an SUV which went down an embankment and hit two trees.
According to the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department the 27-year-old Mentell’s death resulted from the actor not wearing a seat belt during the crash. Read the rest of this entry »

Boston Legal fans have been on the edge of their seats, waiting for the news that the William Shatner/James Spader series would be renewed (and not be canceled, as some had feared). Good news — Boston Legal will be back in the fall for its fifth season.
ABC has finally confirmed the return of a number of fan favorite shows (now that the pesky writers’ strike is over!). I’ve been hearing from readers about when Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy will be back with new episodes.

Following news that the writers’ strike has ended and everyone in TV land is going back to work, ABC has announced that nine of the network’s shows have been renewed for the 2008-09 season.
Naturally, “Desperate Housewives,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Ugly Betty,” “Lost” and “Brothers & Sisters” will return… but four new shows have also been given the network’s blessing for a second season: “Pushing Daisies,” “Private Practice,” “Samantha Who?” and “Dirty Sexy Money.” Read the rest of this entry »
