While “Bionic Woman,” starring Michelle Ryan, has been in danger of cancellation due to low ratings, it looks like rumors that “Bionic Woman” has been cancelled may very well be true.

Once the writers’ strike began, the cast of “Bionic Woman” were in limbo – production stopped and their contracts were suspended. The ominous “they” always see you miss what you no longer have. I guess that could be the case in the life of Bionic Woman, Jaime Sommers. She’s always been a “normal” person. That is, until she is in a nearly-fatal car accident. Her only chance at life is by using bionic body parts. Unfortunately, Jaime can’t always control them, and she had no choice but to accept this tainted gift of life.

The president of ABC, Stephen McPherson, has publicly declared that NBC’s president, Ben Silverman, must be “clueless or stupid” for hiring Isaiah Washington for Bionic Woman.

That should start a nice little war between two major networks right there.

A remake of the classic seventies series the ‘Bionic Woman’ will debut this Fall on NBC. Disgraced ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star, Isaiah Washington has signed on to join the cast.
