One of the best moments of the 2011 VMAs: Adele singing “Someone Like You.” Just Adele, a spotlight and a piano. Thanks Adele, for showing today’s performers that it doesn’t have to always be a huge production.

The Adele “Someone Like You” lyrics speak to a break up: “Never mind, I’ll find someone like you / I wish nothing but the best for you, too.”

NPH and Hugh started the host-off medley with “Anything You Can Do” and run through the reasons each is the better host… ultimately they decide that they’re both pretty dang great.

Perhaps bonus points go to Hugh Jackman, who knows how to get better gift bags!
