Oh please, let this rumor be true! There’s been some rumbling lately about the possibility of an “Arrested Development” movie, but now it looks like it really could happen. Over the weekend, “Arrested Development” star Jason Bateman and series creator Mitch Hurwitz got together for a meeting.

Does this mean an “Arrested Development” movie is absolutely going to happen? Well, no… but it’s nice to dream, especially when two of the show’s key players sit down to chat. Maybe if we all cross our fingers, it will really happen.

Oh please, say it’s so. Well, maybe it’s not confirmed, but there is a distant possibility that “Arrested Development” could make it to the big screen. While the rumor has been swirling about a movie version of the canceled-before-its-time show, Kristin Dos Santos at E! went to the source and contacted “Arrested Development” star Jason Bateman.

According to Bateman, “the talk of a movie version is always there…” but, he continued, “until [series creator] Mitch [Hurwitz] makes it happen, we all just sit ready and willing.”
