Meerkat Manor
Hey, why not? The Animal Planet show, “Meerkat Manor” is soon to become a video game. That’s the word from Discovery Communications (Discovery owns the Animal Planet channel) – who will be partnering with Activision Inc. to make a “Meerkat Manor” video game, as well as other games based on nature television shows.

Discovery Chief Executive David Zaslav commented on the deal, saying, “We are really trying to get away from being a cable company and into being a content company.”

Expect the nature video games, including Meerkat Manor,” in late 2008.
