The big “American Idol – Idol Gives Back” fund-raiser has been announced and it’s drawing some big celebrity support.
“Idol Gives Back” will air on April 9 from 8 to 10 PM (ET) and will feature Bono, Miley Cyrus, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Mariah Carey, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Fergie, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Annie Lennox, John Legend and Snoop Dogg.
Last year’s “Idol Gives Back” raised $76 million.
The February 28 American Idol results show tabulated the almost 31 million votes— and four of the top 20 finalists were elminated: Jason Yeager, Alexandrea Lushington, Alaina Whitaker and Robbie Carrico.

Well, looks like American Idol finalist Amanda Overmyer (the rock n’roll motorcyle riding nurse with the crazy skunk hair) has some skeletons in the closet.
TMZ.com is reporting that Amanda Overmyer plead guilty to DUI in October 2006. Amanda Overmyer’s 180 days of probation for the DUI charge ended in August 2007. Read the rest of this entry »
