Watching American Idol tonight, you may be wondering just how old Neil Diamond is — he’s 67 and still rockin’ out. Not bad. Incidentally, Neil Diamond and I share the same birthday — January 24. Not sure why that’s exciting, but thought I’d share.

Even more interesting to me — how old is Neil Diamond’s mother? I was amazed to see her among the screaming fans in the American Idol audience during the April 30 show. Adoring mom, age unknown.
