Listen to American Idol alum Adam Lambert’s “Aftermath” remix in this video clip. The Aftermath remix premiered on Ryan Seacrest and Adam Lambert performs an acoustic version of Aftermath on Idol’s results show.

After Adam Lambert performs the Aftermath acoustic version, the song will be on sale at Adam Lambert’s Music Store – part of the proceeds go to The Trevor Project.

Adam Lambert has coined a new term – “tongue diving.” Watch Adam Lambert makeout with people in the crowd during his concert in Providence, Rhode Island (video).

What do you think of tongue diving? I’m a bit of a germaphobe, so this just ooks me out, but I suppose an adoring Adam Lambert fan would happily accept his tongue in their mouth.

Adam Lambert does the tongue dive during covers of “Mad World” and “20th Century Boy.” You can check out all the makeout action at the 4:18 and 5:23 marks.

David Cook Not on Idol Finale; Adam Lambert Also Missing from American Idol Reunion

David Cook was not on the Idol finale last night, leaving loads of fans wondering where Cook was for the big American Idol winners/finalists reunion song… also, Adam Lambert was missing too!

Here’s the scoop… David Cook could not appear on the Idol finale because he had a prior engagement – he was at a charity event in Kansas City, his rep reports.

David Cook did post a message for American Idol 2010 winner Lee Dewyze on Twitter: “Congrats to Lee Dewyze! So sorry I could be there to see all my fellow idols. I’m there in spirit!”

(Followed by the tweet: “Lol sorry. Couldn’t, not could. Predictive text wins again”)

As for Adam Lambert being missing from the Idol reunion lineup, there are conflicting reports. Reports swirled yesterday that Lambert didn’t show up for the finale rehearsal and his performance was cut from the show.

USA Today, however, reports that Lambert’s rep said that Adam was put on vocal rest.

Lambert confirmed the news on Twitter, but also tweeted he was “never asked to appear on the finale in any capacity.”

He also tweeted:

“was put on vocal rest yesterday from MY show’s rehearsals which doubled the work 2 do 2day since all equip. had 2 be sent back east tonight.”

“All i ever heard was:”you’ve not been asked to perform on finale.Would you like to sit in the audience?” Me:sorry-Too much work to do today.”

Adam Lambert is rumored to be the guest mentor on the April 13 American Idol, reports

Adam Lambert is also rumored to perform “Whattaya Want From Me” on the April 14 American Idol results show.

Update: Adam Lambert has been confirmed as American Idol guest mentor by a spokesperson for 19 Entertainment. No word on the theme next week.

Adam Lambert has confirmed that he’ll be returning to the American Idol stage for a performance… well, of course he is!

Adam Lambert tweeted today: “Yes, I have been booked on Idol! Can’t reveal the date yet but it’s a ways off… So excited. Kris and Allison were awesome last night.”
