Oof. Seems there was plenty of behind-the-scenes Desperate Housewives drama between Nicollette Sheridan and creator Marc Cherry… Sheridan is suing Cherry for wrongful termination and assault.
Nicollette Sheridan, who played Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives, is suing ABC and Marc Cherry for $20 million, claiming that Cherry smacked her face while on set, then had her killed off (and fired, natch) from the series. Read the rest of this entry »

This “Katherine Heigl leaving Grey’s Anatomy” rumor has been floating around for awhile, but now we’re hearing a little more buzz, courtesy of EW’s Michael Ausiello.
Sources tell Ausiello that Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes will release Katherine Heigl from her contract. ABC studios and Heigl’s reps will have to come to a final exit agreement. Read the rest of this entry »
Not a huge surprise here, but ABC has officially renewed Brothers and Sisters for season 5. Of course, the show will be moving forward without Rob Lowe, who has moved on over to Parks and Recreation.
News of a renewal for Brothers & Sisters’ Sunday night companion Desperate Housewives should be coming soon. There are still stories left to be told about the Walker clan and the Wisteria Lane gang, apparently.
