No surprise that Alec Baldwin won the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for 30 Rock… Baldwin took to the stage, accepting the award from Rob Lowe and commenting, “I’ll be honest — I’d trade this to look like him.”
Alec Baldwin paid his thanks to Tina Fey, the cast and crew of 30 Rock, and especially Lorne Michaels, “who is the greatest boss you could ever have and who has believed in me all these years.”
Though former SNL/current 30 Rock funnyman Tracy Morgan and his wife, Sabina, have been separated for eight years, Morgan has finally filed for divorce.
Tracy Morgan and Sabina, his high school sweetheart, have been married for 23 years and have three sons together.
I know that Jimmy Fallon’s “Let Us Play with Your Look” sketch probably wears on most people’s nerves, as Fallon sings the same thing over and over, higher and higher, until passing out. BUT, it’s fun to see a guest like Alec Baldwin don the wig and white getup to play along.

Liz Lemon is on fire, baby! NBC’s 30 Rock landed a deal to come to Comedy Central and WGN channels in a Monday through Friday block beginning in fall 2011.
The total deal amounts to $800,000 per episode, between the separate deals with Viacom-owned Comedy Central and Tribune-owned WGN. Read the rest of this entry »
