Here are a couple of pictures of Liz Lemon’s new love interest on an upcoming episode of 30 Rock – it’s Mad Men’s Jon Hamm putting the smooch on Tina Fey. I suppose this isn’t much of a surprise, but I’m happy to say that NBC has renewed hit comedies 30 Rock and The Office.

This Today show video piece does a good job of wrapping up the 2009 Golden Globe Awards, with highlights from Tina Fey, the cast of 30 Rock, Kate Winslet, Mickey Rourke and the huge win for Slumdog Millionaire, among other Golden Globe winners.
Salma Hayek joins 30 Rock, beginning January 8 – check out this sneak peek video, where she’ll play nurse to Jack Donaghy’s (Alec Baldwin) mother. Naturally, she’ll be a love interest for Jackie as well!
As a 30 Rock super-fan, I was excited to see the quote “It’s after six – What am I, a farmer?” become a hot item on Google Trends. Thing is, I’m wondering why the 30 Rock quote would be such a hot search.
My guess is that it was mentioned on the radio, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has the scoop. Tina Fey wrote the line for Alec Baldwin’s character, who shows up in a tux after work. Read the rest of this entry »
