Kanye West will perform in a spoof of music competion shows with “The Office” star Rainn Wilson during the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards, airing Sunday September 16th.

Justin Timberlake and “Saturday Night Live” cast member Andy Samberg won a Primetime Emmy Award on Saturday night for their controversial December 2006 sketch, ‘Dick In A Box.’

“I think it’s safe to say that when we first set out to make this song, we were all thinking ‘Emmy!’” Samberg said in accepting the award Saturday for Best Original Music and Lyrics.

“The other thing we were thinking was, ‘Hey! Here’s this young up and comer, Justin Timberlake, who is clearly very talented and could clearly use a break,’” Samberg said. “So, Justin, if you’re out there, congrats to you, kid.’”

Ryan Seacrest will host the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards, live, from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles Sunday, September 16 at 8 p.m. ET.

“Ryan Seacrest appeals to a broad audience, including the highly desirable young adult demographic, so he should serve as a magnet for attracting a diverse array of viewers to our Emmy telecast,” said Dick Askin, chairman and chief executive officer of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Andy Samberg, Justin Timberlake ‘Dick In A Box’ 2007 Emmy Awards

Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg are in talks to perform the controversial “Dick in a Box” SNL hit skit during the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium on September 16th. The pair are up for an Emmy for the December 2006 skit that features J.T and A.S with wrapped presents attached to their waists and singing about how to achieve ‘the look:’

1. Cut a hole in a box.
2. Put your junk in that box…

NBC had to bleep out the word ‘dick’ sixteen times and came underfire from conservative public interest groups.

No Comment from FOX, who will be airing this year’s ceremony.
