Check it out, “Jersey Shore” fans – the cast of the hit MTV reality series have signed on to return for a second season. But they may not be hanging at the shore, according to an early morning MTV press release.

MTV’s press release reads: “Fans continue to demand more ‘Jersey Shore,’ as MTV’s breakout hit series will return for a second season this summer with 12 new episodes.”

The original cast will return, but the locale may change: “Following the success of season one, Pauly D, Mike, Snooki, Jenni, Sammi, Ronnie and Vinny escape the cold Northeast and find themselves in a new destination.”
