Carson Kressley Shows us “How to Look Good Naked”

Well finally… someone is going to show us how to look good naked. And that someone? “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” style expert and “Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants” judge Carson Kressley, of course!

The new Lifetime series, “How to Look Good Naked,” features Carson Kressley in his pursuit of helping women overcome their body image issues. The show will give internal and external makeovers – no plastic surgery involved, imagine that!

According to Carson Kressley:
“So much of these ladies’ issues are just in their heads. That’s the thing with body dismorphia, you really believe that something is wrong and sometimes it takes a fresh set of eyes to tell you to tell yourself that you’re being tricked. … I tell these ladies that their reality check has bounced.

We didn’t work with any women, intentionally, who were truly obese. People who are overweight and clinically obese, that’s a health problem. I’m not a doctor and certainly I wouldn’t advocate people being overweight, but if you’re a healthy weight and maybe you’re just not a size zero, it’s still okay and that’s what we’re saying.

The most powerful message of the show is you don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. You hate yourself because you’re a size 12, but you need to get over that. Stop sulking and get on with living your life because life is too short to be whining about how big your thighs are.”

“How to Look Good Naked” premieres this Friday at 9 PM on Lifetime.

How can you get on the show how to look good naked show? I went through breast cancer, reconstruction. They did a good job, but I don’t feel like I look good. I think like this would help a lot with my self esteem

Well, they certainly make it difficult on the Lifetime site to find any info about show casting. I did find this general FAQ:
