It’s over for the soap opera hottie – Cameron Mathison was eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” last night. It hasn’t been easy for Mathison, who spent his time between Los Angeles and New York to compete in “Dancing with the Stars” and continue work on “All My Children” (in New York). His hard work paid off in his improvement over the season, but it wasn’t enough to keep him in the contest.

Following Mathison’s elimination, host Tom Bergeron commented, “In five seasons, no one has traveled as much, or has had as much on their plate, as you have.”

Next week marks the semi-final for “Dancing with the Stars.” With Jennie Garth, Helio Castroneves, Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown, and Marie Osmond left in the race, who do you think will take home the cheesy “DWTS” trophy?

Mathison was sorry to leave the competition, saying, “Not one single bit of me wanted to go home. Clearly this has been a great competition.”
