A California woman gave birth to octuplets (that’s 8 babies, wow!) yesterday, with the eighth baby being a surprise! Watch this Today show video clip for more details about the delivery.

The octuplets are only the second known delivery in the United States – at birth, five were breathing on their own, one needed help with breathing and two were attached to respirators, but all are breathing on their own now. They were born 9 weeks premature.
