Bruce Springsteen Super Bowl half time show
Page Six is reporting that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play the Super Bowl Half Time Show in February 2009.

Last year’s aging rocker for the Super Bowl Half Time Show was Tom Petty, while past acts have included Prince and Paul McCartney.

While Bruce Springsteen hasn’t confirmed the Super Bowl half time appearance, an insider said “Little Stevie (Van Zandt) has already rented out the Hard Rock CafĂ© for a party.” Not that this little tidbit means anything, so we’ll see if the rumored Boss appearance will become a reality.

Come on! You could get ANYONE to perform at the superbowl, and you pick Bruce Springsteen?!!!! Pathetic. It’s The Superbowl, not The View. This is sickening.

If these rumors turn out to be true, having Bruce perform at the SB will be great! The SB is the only football game I watch, and now it’ll be that much better when the Boss takes the stage! I wonder which songs he’ll sing?
