Britney Spears decided to cancel her live appearance on tonight’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center special, opting instead to pre-tape a message for the program.

Guess two performances on Good Morning America yesterday and a birthday bash last night wiped her out too much for a live appearance for the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

A source told OK! magazine, “She was originally supposed to perform live and then she wanted to pre-tape her performance instead. Then she didn’t want to do that. She keeps changing her mind and now she’s not performing at all.”
