Barry Manilow ‘The View’ End Feud; Manilow To Appear

Barry Manilow and the ladies of the “The View” have ended their feud just days after the ‘Copacabana’ star cancelled his appearance on the troubled chatfest over his dislike for conservative host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
“I know there’s a lot of talk and everybody made some peace and Barry will come and be with us at some time,” Whoopi Goldberg told the audience on Wednesday. “It wasn’t yesterday, it won’t be today. It will happen in the future.”
Barry, who is good friends with former host Rosie O’Donnell, said he would only appear on the show if Elisabeth was not present to be part of the interview session.
Following the request, “View” executive producer Bill Geddie joined fellow E.P. Barbara Walters on her SIRIUS radio show to discuss the ultimatum given by Manilow.
“He’s always seemed like a nice guy, but I don’t get him on this. We’re ‘The View,’ we have people with different opinions,” Geddie concluded. “You sit with one of us, you sit with all of us.”
