“Arrested Development” fans have been eagerly awaiting any AD movie update news… and here’s something that says the movie is definitely going to happen. Arrested Development creator Mitchell Hurwitz and his co-executive producer James Vallely are currently working on a screenplay for the big screen version of our favorite series.

All of the stars of Arrested Development: Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, David Cross, Will Arnett, Alia Shawkat, Portia de Rossi, Jessica Walter and Jeffrey Tambor are all on board, so Hurwitz and Vallely are working to move forward on the project.

Now comes the scheduling debacle, however. Anyone care to guess for a release date for the Arrested Development movie?
