Following the allegations of physical and sexual abuse at Oprah Winfrey’s girls’ school in South Africa, a former employee has been arrested, though no name was released yet.

In a statement, Oprah had said:

“Nothing is more serious or devastating to me than an allegation of misconduct by an adult against any girl at the Academy. I will do everything within my power to ensure their safety and well-being.”

She added: “I’ve disappointed you. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.”
