Huh, who would’ve thought that Carly Smithson and Syesha Mercado would be in the bottom two of the April 23 American Idol results show? In the end, Carly Smithson was eliminated.
So, Brooke White and Jason Castro (who I love by the way), were spared the bottom two — what do you think? Huge fan base for these two or votefortheworst at work?

I’m SO glad Jason stayed (although I’m sad about Carly who is hugely talented-Brooke should have gone for sure!). I think Jason is really talented and just a slow grower-I think he might give Archuleta a run for his money for the top 2. Particularly if little David doesn’t knock off the ballads.

That’s what I hate about VFTW. I voted for Brooke because I like her, but then I get clumped into their crowd. I guess I’m glad to have their backing tonight, because I am so very very glad to see Carly gone. But that’s just me (and apparently a lot of other people).
