Besides the great news that Parks and Recreation has been renewed for a third season, now comes buzz that SNL star Andy Samberg will be guest starring on an upcoming episode of P&R.

Andy Samberg is set to play Carl, the head of park security who clashes with Amy Poehler’s Leslie after someone is mugged at one of the parks.

No word on when the Andy Samberg episode of Parks and Recreation will air, but no doubt it’ll be hilarious – if you haven’t checked this show out, do yourself a favor and tune in.
