And then there were two - Idol finale, here we come!

Last night the top three - Melinda Doolittle, Blake Lewis, and Jordin Sparks - performed three songs each. For two hours, over 60 million votes came in. Tonight the results were in. Drumroll…
In a shocking (but not really, because it happens a lot on this show) result, Melinda was sent home despite being the best singer. (And seriously, I loved her “Nutbush City Limits” last night)
I am thrilled that Blake will be around another week but I would have preferred a Blake-Melinda finale, but I’ll take what I can get.
With her voice, I’m sure Melinda will be back soon.

I love Jordan and cant see Melinda going any farther than fantasia and honestly its not like she is kelly or carrie , they exploded on the charts and so did daughtry . so think of it this way although taylor hicks won last year .. have you heard anything from him .? no or beau bice , those two as well as melinda do not have the ability to reach the masses the way a younger hipper and sorry to say more physically appealling person such as jordin or blake / Carrie/kelly do you agree? Sad to say but that is where america is man
