If you were a little sad to see Michael Scott’s romance with HR director Holly get nipped short on The Office, you’re in luck. Actress Amy Ryan will return to the role of Holly on an upcoming episode of The Office.

The Office boss, Greg Daniels, cofirmed the return of Amy Ryan to EW.com

Daniels says, “She will come back. We haven’t written it yet, but we’re discussing her coming back for the season finale. We’re hoping she’ll be available.”

He also says he hopes to work out a more permanent return for Amy Ryan, saying, “Because [Michael and Holly] have such a deep connection, I don’t think she can blow in and out every so often. It would be too hard for him as a human being. So, we’re hoping to find some very significant things for them. And if we can get her to sign on for a really long period, we’ll do it.”
