Amy Fisher & Joey Buttafuoco To Reunite In Romantic Reality Series
Recently single Joey Buttafuoco and Amy Fisher, the former adult/child couple whose clandestine affair resulted in an NBC Movie of the Week and a gunshot wound to the head for Mrs. Buttafuoco, are reuniting for a romantic reality series. Amy was sixteen when thirty-eight year old Joey, a mechanic, began having sex with her.
Seventeen year old Amy Fisher shot Mary Jo Buttafuoco in 1992 and served seven years in jail, but Buttafuoco was not charged in the shooting.
The reunion is to be filmed by TV producer David Krieff as Joey and Amy meet in a Central Park restaurant for a hopefully romantic candlelight dinner.
David tells the New York press that he hopes to make the reunion into a reality show, and says Joey is “very happy” about the reunion.
“I still have feelings for her,” Joey says. “I can’t wait to have dinner with her. I can’t wait to be with her. I can’t wait to touch her.”
