You know, I distinctly remember that at one point during the auditions I actually said out loud that Sanjaya was a decent singer.

Seriously, was it a Milli Vanilli thing going on? Someone else sang for him, perhaps? Because every week I find myself screaming at my television, wondering why in the name of all that is holy that boy is still prancing around the stage and pretending to sing songs.

That was horrible. Terrifying. Awful. Please excuse any typos because I have all my fingers crossed that he will be going HOME tonight.

And also? What was that hair?

Other notes that crossed my mind:

Gina finally sounded like the singer I liked back in the post-Hollywood rounds when she did Evanescence. Lakisha is good but I am so bored by her. Melinda is still phenomenal but she has to start believing she’s really that good because the “gosh you LIKE me?” is getting old and annoying. Jordin rocked the house. Blake is still my favorite of the guys. Haley is the only person who needs to go home as badly as Sanjaya.

Note to Paula: “Pretty girl” is a totally irrelevant comment when someone is in a singing competition and sucks. Haley may be pretty but she sucks. Accept it.
