New York City

• Adeola Adegoke, 19, Bronx, NY – sang “And I Am Telling You” and… she shouldn’t have quit her day job. That’s a no to Hollywood. Aw, but Simon Cowell gets her her job back!
• Melinda Camille, 22, Stratford, CT – Huh. She’s into dancing naked and sings “Feeling Good” – she gets all yes’s to Hollywood!
• Jackie Tohn, 27, Silver Lake, CA – sang “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz and she gets the yes to Hollywood.
• Kate Cassiday, 27, Great Meadows, NY – No.
• Antyon Smith, 24, NY, NY – No.
• Jasmine James, Brooklyn, NY – No.
• Mike Perlman, 25, Boston, MA – No.
• Nick Mitchell (Norman Gentle), 27, Brookfield, CT – Sang “And I Am Telling You” and “Amazing Grace” – and they gave him a ticket to Hollywood? Such a surprise.
• Ashley Hollister, 21, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ – Yes!
• Kenny Hoffpauer, 16, Havertown, PA – Yes!
• Kendall Beard, 23, Austin, TX – Yes!
• Nicole Laraway, 24, Northampton, MA – No.
• Mark Granata, 26, West Haverstraw, NY – No.
• Michael Sconiers, 27, Rochester, NY – No.
• Alexis Cohen, 24, Philadelphia, PA – oh, here we go… crazy girl is back for a second go-around. She’s all cleaned up though and less crazy. But is she any good? She sang “Like a Prayer” and the judges think she got worse from last time.

San Juan

• Jorge Nunez, 20, Carolina, Puerto Rico – sang “My Way” and “What a Wonderful World” and he’s very good – the judges loved him and he’s through to Hollywood!
• Jessika Baier, 20, Jackson, MI – she won a contest to get to the Idol auditions, sang “I Surrender” by Celine Dion and Simon thought it was awful. It was no’s across the board.
• Carlos Santos, 21, Bayamon, Puerto Rico – No.
• Joel Contreras, 23, San Juan – As Simon says, it’s excruciatingly bad. NO to Hollywood.
• Monique Garcia Torres, 16, San Juan – has the cute kid brother; sang “You Can’t Hurry Love” and although the judges didn’t think she was quite ready, Paula and Simon put her through! She’s adorable.
• Patricia Lewis, Roman, 20, Caguas, Puerto Rico – Sang “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” then changed it up when she didn’t impress the judges… and she gets through!
