The final 3 American Idol contestants perform tonight – and the theme for May 12 is judges’ choice and the contestants’ personal choice. This is always a fun theme week because there are so many options.

Danny Gokey, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen had their homecoming visits and, as we know from American Idols past, they get a phone call or fax (or text, maybe?) of the judges’ choice while they’re doing the hometown visit.
