There’s some debate about what the American Idol March 31 theme is going to be tonight – some are saying that the top 9 Idol finalists will sing iTunes Top 100, while others report it is actually iTunes’ top downloads.

Paula Abdul said Friday on the John Jay and Rich KISS radio show out of Phoenix that the American Idol March 31 theme is “#1 Downloads.”

Still others are reporting that Idol finalists will have the theme of iTunes top 100 songs.

Guess we’ll have to tune in to the March 31 show to see which of the themes the American Idol finalists are going with – iTunes top 100 or iTunes top downloads?
