American Idol Finalist Allison Iraheta Signs Record Deal
American Idol finalist Allison Iraheta, who placed fourth in the singing competition, has landed herself a record deal! Allison Iraheta joins Kris Allen and Adam Lambert in signing her own record deal with 19 Recordings.
Allison Iraheta commented, “I think I’m still in shock that this is happening — getting to record my first album and this whole awesome experience is a dream come true!”

Happy for Allison that she joins Adam and Kris w/album deal. I wish them all well. The music that is available from them now, especially. Adam would sell much better if it were also on cd format. I cannot get Itunes, Have no cell phone, cannot play digital on my cd player..I have to wait. So, when they talk about who is selling now from AI, they should remember folks like me.If Adam has something out on cd, I would probably already have worn out my first copy. And, I am 72 yrs old; I think he is the BEST rock/pop singer in my lifetime !!!

In the end, I think she’s better off, too, because many Idol losers ended up becoming more successful than the winners themselves.
