American Idol Draws 33.24 Million Viewers

The premiere of “American Idol 7″ didn’t disappoint ravenous Idol fans. 33.24 million viewers tuned in to watch the two-hour season premiere.
Sounds great, but the numbers didn’t top the viewer totals for “American Idol 6″ — “American Idol 2008″ came in 11 percent lower than the 2007 edition.
Did you tune in? What was your favorite moment? James Lewis’ super-low “Let My People Go,” Angela Martin’s heart tugging story of wanting to be on American Idol for her daughter, or Alexis Cohen’s meltdown?
