American Idol Carrie Underwood Inducted into Grand Ole Opry

Carrie Underwood just keeps adding more impressive entries to her resume – not only is the American Idol winner a top country artist, but she was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday.
Garth Brooks presented Carrie Underwood with a bronze Opry microphone stand award, telling her, “Nothing will last as long or be as important as this award right here.”
Carrie Underwood said during the Grand Ole Opry induction, “This really seems like a great family to be part of. I promise I’ll do everything I possibly can to not make you regret it.”
