Tonight, American Idol headed to Jacksonville, Florida for auditions. Here’s a recap of some of the American Idol auditioners, including this video clip of Anne Marie Boskovich.

  • Joshua Ulloa, 22, Beverly Hills, Florida – compared himself to Justin Guarini (woohoo!), sang “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye with a lot of sound effects. He gets unanimous yes’s to Hollywood.
  • Sharon Wilbur, 25, Jacksonville, Florida – brought her shitzu to the audition, sang “Superstar” by Karen Carpenter and she gets through to Hollywood.
  • Dana Moreno, 24, West Palm Beach, Florida – sang/screeched Chaka Khan. That’s a no.
  • Kaneswa Finnie, 16, Jacksonville, FL – sang an Anita Baker song, completely off key. Ow! As expected, a resounding no!
  • Julissa Veloz, 19, Orlando – beauty queen who sang Whitney Houston; go figure, she got a yes to Hollywood.
  • Darin Darnell, 28, Houston, Texas – sang a tortured Boyz 2 Men. No golden ticket here, folks.
  • Naomi Sykes, 25, Tampa, Florida – compared herself to Mariah Carey and sang “Lovin You” and oh. my. god. Naomi got a no from the judges – but lots of hugs too. So it’s okay, right?
  • Jasmine Murray, 16, Starkville, Mississippi – sang “Big Girls Don’t Cry” by Fergie – Jasmine will be one to watch, very beautiful, great voice… naturally, a ticket to Hollywood!
  • George Ramirez, 18, Jacksonville, Florida – the physics dude is tone deaf. That’s a no.
  • T.K. Hash, 23, Concord, NC – sang “Imagine” by John Lennon and the judges thought it was over the top, but he gets the yes to Hollywood (not from Simon, however).
  • Michael Pirelli, 18, – sang “Jumper” by Third Eye Blind but was so nervous without his guitar… it’s a no for Michael.
  • Anne Marie Boskovich, 23, – sang “Bubbly” by Colbie Caillat and got a definite yes to Hollywood.
