American Idol 7 Atlanta Auditions: Hollywood Round

Over 12,000 people auditioned in Atlanta, Georgia (and even Ryan Seacrest’s parents stopped by!), but only 20 contestants made it through to the Hollywood round. Check out the audition folks that were shown during the “American Idol 7″ Atlanta auditions:
- Joshua Jones, 26, Atlanta, GA – works with glass; sang “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen; judges think he has crazy eyes
- Asia’h Epperson, 18, Joplin, MO – father passed away in a car accident two days before the audition; sang “How Do I Live” by LeAnn Rimes
- Brooke Helvie, 18, Wellington, FL — Miss South Florida Fair; sang Jackson 5 song
- Alexandrea Lushinton, 16, Douglasville, GA – brings whole family, includin 93 year-old great-grandmother; sang “My Funny Valentine”
- Amanda Overmyer, 22, Mulberry, IN – nurse and motorcycle rider; sang “Mean Woman” by Janis Joplin
- Josiah Leming, 18, Morristown, TN – stopped going to school at 17 and lives in his car; sings original song “To Run”
