American Idol 2008 South Carolina Auditions – Hollywood Finalists
Of the more than 10,000 people that showed up to audition for “American Idol 2008″ in Charleston, South Carolina, only 23 total contestants were chosen for Hollywood. Overall, it seemed like ther weren’t a lot of talented folks at this audition city.
Here are some of the highlights of the “American Idol 7″ South Carolina auditions:
- Michelle and Jeffrey Lampkin, 26 and 24, Fort Mill & Newberry, SC – this brother/sister team had lots of energy; sang Celine Dion/R. Kelly song and both were given the “yes” to Hollywood.
- Amy Catherine Flynn, 16, Knoxville, TN – captain of her dance team and speaks to students about abstinence; sang “Reflection” by Christina Aguilera and was given the Hollywood golden ticket.
- London Weidberg, 24, Sullivan’s Island, SC -full time musician who put music on hold when her dad was dying from cancer; sang Billie Holiday song, “Good Morning Heartache.”
Seriously, that’s all the Hollywood round finalists that were shown on this episode of “American Idol.”
