The masses have spoken – or tuned in – and it looks like “American Gladiators” ratings are booming. “American Gladiators” is doing so well that it’s been renewed for a second season.

The renewal is a big deal, considering just two episodes aired before the announcement that “American Gladiators” would be back for another season.

The premiere of “American Gladiators” was seen by 12 million viewers – the second highest ratings for any new series (“Terminator” was first). The show, a retooled update of the 1980s/1990s “American Gladiators,” will finish out its first season in February.

No word on when season two of “American Gladiators” will begin airing.
