Amanda Knox Verdict: Amanda Knox Found Guilty of Murdering Roommate

The verdict is in for Amanda Knox – the jury in Italy found Amanda Knox guilty of murdering her British roommate two years ago. Amanda Knox was sentenced to 26 years in prison.
Amanda Knox’s Italian ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito was also convicted – he received a sentence of 25 years.
Knox and Sollecito were charged with murder and sexual assault in the death of Meredith Kercher, whose throat was slit in the house the girls shared.
All three were students in Italy at the time.
