Alec Baldwin
Well this is certainly strange - “30 Rock” star Alec Baldwin was having an interview with The Los Angeles Times - then leaves the interview abruptly. Not only that, but Alec Baldwin apparently was preoccupied with his computer and had some strange answers, including quitting the business of acting.

Alec Baldwin commented on recently turning 50, saying:

“A man turns 50 and he has a funeral for the skills that he never had. He says goodbye. I’m never gonna be a cop, never gonna be a professional baseball player, never going to play the piano, a ballet dancer, the leading rusher in the NFL. All those things gone. But! There’s other things to do. The world is run by men in their 50s. So I’m trying to decide what to do when I quit this business.

Yeah, I do have to find another career. I don’t want to do this. . . . I don’t.”

And what about leaving the Los Angeles Times interview abruptly? Alec Baldwin reportedly stood up and said “Lemme go find out something, hold on” and went to lunch!

He’s done so much as an actor, he may want to explore other things he’s never done. He’s as robust and as brimming with talent, smarts, charm, charisma and capabilities as it gets, so why not pursue the things he can. His fans as an actor support him, it’s true. To many of his fans he could sell fine condiments and it would work. It worked for Paul Newman.
