In case the acting thing doesn’t work out, Alec Baldwin (30 Rock) is planning a move into politics. Which seems interesting, given last year’s rude voicemail rant to his daughter.

Perhaps Alec Baldwin should stick to more comedy (is he not a genius on 30 Rock?). It doesn’t seem like he’d be much of a favorite in the political arena given his testy temper exhibited during that voicemail recording. Just sayin.’

So, when can we expect Alec Baldwin to throw his hat into the political ring? Apparently, he considered running for governor two years ago, but he says in a 60 Minutes interview airing Sunday (May 11), “There are other things I want to do [besides acting]. “There’s no age limit on running for office, to a degree.” Alec Baldwin also comments that a political run “is something I might do one day.”
