Harvey Korman dies
Funnyman Harvey Korman, well known for his work on the Carol Burnett show opposite Burnett and Tim Conway, has died. He was 81.

Sadly, Harvey Korman died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles — he had been suffering from a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm for several months.

Harvey Korman was a hilarious fixture on The Carol Burnett Show and starred in films such as Blazing Saddles.

Carol Burnett made the following statement: “I’m devastated. I loved him very much.”

His daughter, Kate Korman, made the following statement on behalf of the family: “It was a miracle in itself that he survived the incident at all. Everyone in the hospital referred to him as ‘miracle man’ because of his strong will and ability to bounce right back after several major operations. Tragically, after such a hard-fought battle he passed away.”
