Actor Bernie Hamilton Dead; Starsky and Hutch Captain Dies at Age 80

Bernie Hamilton, who played the police captain “Starsky and Hutch,” died of cardiac arrest Tuesday nigth. Bernie Hamilton was 80.
Bernie Hamilton was a series regular on Starsky and Hutch, playing Capt. Harold Dobey, and also appeared in more than 20 films.
Following Starsky and Hutch, Hamilton went on to spend 20 years in the music business producing R&B and gospel records under the record label Chocolate Snowman.
